Ethics in Blog Posting

Blogs are a publicly viewable site so bloggers should be cautious as to how they conduct themselves in each post. While technically they are a personal website to publish personally written content there are some ethics that should be considered. Breaking the law is probably one of the biggest ones that should be considered. Keeping your content in accordance with the law should be a top priority. Others to consider include accepting personal responsibility for the content on your blog, ensuring that there is no personal attacks on individuals or bullying amongst your content. You should be considerate to all those that may read your blog in terms of the content you post and always back up your claims and content with a context or facts. All in all your content should always be original. People come to your blog to see you and therefore you should ensure all content published comes from you.
